I write supernatural fiction with a Medieval twist blending folklore, mystery and dark storytelling. Possessed: A Medieval Tale of Witchcraft is a journey into the darker corners of identity, where the past refuses to stay buried and the echoes of another life grow dangerously loud.

Edwina James has always lived with a strange gift,  the ability to channel her past lives. But when a powerful ancient witch known as the Tigress sets her sights on taking over Edwina’s life, that gift becomes a deadly curse. With dark magic, the Tigress forces Edwina’s consciousness into a void where nothing exists no sound, no sight, no feeling.

Trapped in absolute nothingness, Edwina must find a way to return before it’s too late. But even if she escapes, a far greater battle awaits against a cunning and relentless enemy determined to claim her future. A gripping tale of time travel, possession, and survival, this story builds toward a shocking ending you won’t see coming.

Step Into a World Beyond Time

The stories of Roy Askham transport readers across time, where past lives, dark magic, and unseen forces collide in gripping and unpredictable ways. Blending time travel with supernatural suspense, his books explore what happens when hidden abilities awaken and ancient powers refuse to remain buried in history.

From haunting encounters with powerful witches to journeys through forgotten centuries, each story follows characters caught between worlds fighting to reclaim their identity, their future, and their very existence. Filled with mystery, danger, and shocking twists, these stories pull readers into a world where every action has consequences and nothing is ever quite what it seems.

Books by Roy Askham Author

Roy Askham Author Has attempted to describe a lot of his personal interests through his writing, which ranges from out-of-body experiences, astral travel, reincarnation, time travel and spiritual awakening.

All the books involve "Time Travel" by way of astral excursions into the past, however, it seems that besides the excursions being a learning experience, that this sort of travel can also cause dire consequences unless one is vigilant as the reader will soon realize.

In the first book of the Duology, Evil Across Time, Edwina has a horrific car crash and whilst sitting at the side of the road, she is asked where the tall woman is who ripped off the car door to escape the burning wreck, she states that there is no tall woman and that she was by herself.

Edwina has also been told by her sister and close friends in the past that she has previously performed unimaginable feats of strength; however, she has no recollection of such feats.

Three months after the car accident, Edwina moves into a five-hundred-year-old house. On retiring to bed the first night, she has an out-of-body experience, and travels down a timeline to Medieval England, where she sees a man carrying out his work as a builder. She soon becomes aware that she can read his mind, and she realizes that the man is her previous incarnation and his name is Edward. Edwina notices that Edward is walking on very dangerous grounds at his workplace and needs to warn him of his impending doom, but she can't communicate with him due to her being in her out-of-body condition.

Subsequent to visiting Edward her former incarnation, Edwina is back in modern day England and is seeing a shrink about her multiple personality problem. She is now aware how this problem came about: she inadvertently channels the incarnations of her past lives. Most days it’s inconvenient, but she and her fiancée have learned to manage it as best they can. That is, until a powerful witch known as the Tigress — a predator who thrived on the innocent eight hundred years ago — sets her sights on her future self, Edwina.
The Tigress intends to claim Edwina’s place in the twenty‑first century, and she has the magic to make it happen. With a single spell, she hurls Edwina’s consciousness into a dimension devoid of matter. Edwina cannot see, hear, or feel anything, yet she must somehow work out how to return home — a nearly impossible task without a body or a coherent thought. If she can free herself, she must then find a way to defeat a witch who is cunning, relentless, and willing to stop at nothing to get what she wants.
Follow the trials and tribulations Edwina faces as she fights to reclaim her life. Ride the Time Travel Train toward a climax you will not see coming.

The idea of The Magic Mirror is to help children to understand that it is important to respect all living things and to show that every action also has a consequence and reaction.

Abigail is checking out her seventy-five-year-old decrepit body in her mirror, and being a witch, she thinks she has control over her destiny, but she is wrong as she quickly finds out when her mirror magically begins to speak.

At first Abigail is very startled that her mirror is speaking, and she thinks she is hearing things, however, she soon realizes that the mirror is actually only trying to help her. After arguing with her mirror for a while, Abigail finally accepts that she needs to do as instructed, and that is, she needs to allow herself to be transported back in time through her mirror, at which time she will have to fix up all her bad deeds.

If she does this, she will magically be reverted back to thirty years of age, and she will be allowed to live forever. Although this feat may prove virtually impossible due to all her previous bad deeds, but can she do it?
